Most Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders are aware of earning additional points through their Lyft rides, but there are more benefits available for these cardholders.

As a Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholder, you'll receive 5 points for every dollar spent on Lyft. In addition to points, cardholders get a $10 monthly in-app credit on all Lyft purchases, which is valid until September 2027. "The $10 monthly ride credit is automatically added to the Lyft app on the first day of each month. Any unused credit expires at the end of every month." This credit excludes Wait & Save, bike, or scooter rides on the Lyft app.

Moreover, holders of the Sapphire Reserve card are eligible for a complimentary DoorDash DashPass subscription, which must be activated by December 31, 2027. If linked to a Lyft account, cardholders can avail further discounts on rides each month.

The monthly $10 ride credit is beneficial for offsetting the Chase Sapphire Reserve's annual fee, although it cannot be used for certain Lyft ride types and does not roll over month-to-month. The credit is particularly valuable for frequent users of Lyft.

However, for those who seldom use ride-hailing apps, the value of this benefit might be limited. Additionally, the previous complimentary benefit of Lyft Pink All-Access is no longer available with the Sapphire Reserve card. Regular Lyft users can save additional money through these benefits.
