Flying Food Group has announced its ongoing commitment to community support and development through various initiatives aimed at empowering children and families in East Granby, Connecticut. The company emphasizes the importance of community involvement beyond providing meals, focusing on creating opportunities for those in need.

A key initiative is the collaboration with local organizations to supply essential items to children. Each year, Flying Food Group distributes hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies to ensure children have the necessary resources for academic success. Their partnership with the Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) plays a significant role in this effort. CREC offers magnet schools specializing in arts and STEM, providing underserved children access to exceptional educational opportunities. Last year, Flying Food Group donated approximately 120 fully-equipped backpacks.

The company also invests in community well-being by funding new playgrounds and supporting digital equity through annual laptop raffles for students. These efforts are supported by The Sue Ling Gin Foundation Trust, reinforcing Flying Food Group's mission to uplift families and foster a vibrant community.
