Amsterdam is set to commemorate its 750th anniversary in 2025, with celebrations culminating on October 27, the date the city first appeared in official records. This milestone is marked by a plethora of events throughout the year, catering to both locals and tourists. Despite previous challenges related to over-tourism, the city remains a popular destination, now imposing higher tourist fees and a ban on new hotel constructions.

Several hotels in Amsterdam are offering packages tied to the anniversary celebration. Notable among them is the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, a Hilton property renowned for its elegance and a two Michelin-starred restaurant. Bookings can be made through Skylark or directly via Hilton’s platform.

The Dylan, located in the 9 Straatjes area, is recognized for its boutique experience and gourmet offerings at its restaurants, Vinkeles and até. The Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht, noted for its creative designs by Marcel Wanders, provides a vibrant stay with Dutch-inspired interiors.
