Embraer has revealed its first-quarter 2025 backlog, reporting a record high of $26.4 billion. The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, which is due to release its Q1 results on May 6, noted that its commercial aircraft backlog stood at $10 billion. This figure marks a 2% decline from the previous quarter and a 10% decrease from the same period last year. Embraer has yet to account for the order from All Nippon Airways (ANA) as the deal has not been finalized. "This order will likely be included in the second half of 2025, when the final contract is signed," the company stated.

During the first quarter, Embraer delivered seven commercial aircraft, comprising four E175s and three E195-E2s. The customers included Envoy Air, Horizon Air, Republic Airways, Porter Airlines, Hunnu Air, and Azul. The 2025 delivery forecast for commercial aircraft is set between 77 and 85 units.

The E175 model holds a significant portion of firm orders, primarily driven by United States-based airlines and their affiliates. American Airlines, Republic Airways, and SkyWest Airlines are among the key customers with standing orders of 90, 40, and 16 E175s, respectively. In terms of other models, the E195-E2 and E190-E2 have 151 and 25 firm orders, respectively.

Embraer's private aviation sector backlog reached $7.6 billion, an increase of 3% quarter-on-quarter and a 66% rise year-on-year. The company delivered 23 jets, including 14 light jets and nine mid-size private jets in Q1. In Defense and Security, the backlog was valued at $4.2 billion, with orders split between the KC-390 Millennium and A-29 Super Tucano. Embraer’s Services and Support backlog remained stable at $4.6 billion.

The company's collaboration with Airlink marks a significant agreement in Africa, with the South African airline becoming the first in the region to adopt Embraer’s Collaborative Inventory Planning (ECIP) system for its fleet.
