JetBlue expands TrueBlue points redemption with Japan Airlines

For travelers looking to book these flights, JetBlue advises using their website to search and book JAL-operated flights the same way as JetBlue flights, with the option to use TrueBlue points. Example itineraries include an economy return flight from San Francisco to Tokyo's Haneda Airport for 29,000 points and a premium economy one-way flight on the same route for 59,000 points.

Japan Airlines operates multiple routes between Japan and the continental U.S., including flights from Tokyo's Haneda and Narita airports to major U.S. cities like Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, and Seattle. The carrier also connects to Honolulu from four Japanese airports.

TrueBlue points can be accumulated through flying JetBlue, using cobranded credit cards, or transferring rewards from partners like Chase Ultimate Rewards and American Express Membership Rewards.
