United Airlines is expanding its international network from Denver International Airport with the addition of two new routes. Beginning October 26, the airline will operate daily flights to Mexico City, Mexico, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. This marks United Airlines' return to the Denver-Mexico City route, after a hiatus of several years.

The flight schedule includes UA783 departing Denver for Mexico City at 18:00 local time and arriving at 21:30. The return flight, UA784, will leave Mexico City at 08:05 and arrive in Denver at 12:00. For the Punta Cana route, flight UA1699 will take off from Denver at 09:45, landing in Punta Cana at 17:18. The return trip, UA1698, will depart Punta Cana at 13:05, reaching Denver at 17:50.

"United Airlines will start flying from Denver International Airport (DEN) to Mexico City International Airport (MEX) and Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) on October 26, coinciding with the beginning of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) winter season."

Data from aviation analytics company Cirium’s Diio Mi indicates that United Airlines last flew between Denver and Mexico City in June 2018. The Punta Cana route has not been served by United since at least 2000.

Currently, Aeromexico and Volaris operate flights from Denver to Mexico City, while Frontier Airlines was the last to connect Denver with Punta Cana, ceasing its flights in May 2024. United Airlines will continue its existing Caribbean flights from Denver to Montego Bay in Jamaica and San Juan in Puerto Rico.

United Airlines plans to operate 155 weekly flights from Denver to international destinations, a 6.9% increase from the previous year. Additionally, the airline maintains an extensive network from Denver to Mexico, Canada, and Europe, including destinations like Frankfurt, Munich, and London.
