Etihad Airways has announced the introduction of its new Airbus A321LR, which features luxury First Suites, lie-flat Business seats, and 4K touchscreens in Economy. The announcement was shared in a post on X.

According to Etihad Airways, the unveiling of the A321LR took place at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 in Dubai. This marks a significant enhancement in its narrow-body fleet. The A321LR is designed to offer long-haul luxury on short-to-medium-haul routes, featuring premium cabin products previously exclusive to wide-body aircraft. This strategic move aligns with Etihad's commitment to providing a consistent luxury experience across its fleet.

The A321LR's First Class cabin includes two private suites, each equipped with a lie-flat bed, sliding doors, and a 20-inch 4K touchscreen with Bluetooth audio. Business Class offers 14 lie-flat seats in a 1-1 configuration, providing direct aisle access and enhanced privacy. These features are adapted from Etihad's wide-body aircraft to deliver a premium experience on single-aisle flights.

Passengers also benefit from USB charging ports and Etihad's next-generation entertainment system. These enhancements aim to elevate the comfort and entertainment options for economy travelers.
