JetBlue has resumed its seasonal flights between New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Hollywood Burbank Airport. The service, which started again on April 30, utilizes the airline’s Airbus A220 aircraft. The route is notable for being one of JetBlue’s longest for the A220, spanning around 2,400 miles.

Flight B6358 departs from New York at 17:10, arriving in Burbank at 20:33. The return journey, designated as flight B6359, leaves Burbank at 21:30, landing in New York at 05:54 the following day. The New York-Burbank leg takes six hours and 23 minutes, while the return trip is five hours and 23 minutes.

JetBlue announced this route in January alongside other summer expansion plans from Boston Logan International Airport and New York airports. Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s head of revenue, network, and enterprise planning, remarked, “With these new destinations and routes, JetBlue is introducing even more travelers to our industry-leading service, strengthening our position in New York and as the East Coast's leisure airline. We’re excited to build on our momentum, offering customers across the Northeast and beyond even more travel opportunities.”

Other prominent routes for JetBlue’s A220 aircraft this month include Boston to Portland, Boston to Phoenix, Boston to Sacramento, and Buffalo to Los Angeles. The airline’s summer schedule also features the introduction of services from Boston to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and San Pedro Sula, Honduras, marking JetBlue’s inaugural flights to these destinations.

JetBlue, founded in 2000 with Joanna Geraghty as its CEO, operates hubs at Boston Logan International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, New York JFK Airport, Orlando International Airport, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

The resumption of services at Hollywood Burbank Airport comes amid a rise in passenger numbers. In March 2025, the airport handled 531,078 passengers, marking a 5.12% increase over March 2024. Leading airlines by passenger volume for March 2025 included Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and United Airlines.
