Delta Air Lines has been recognized as the highest-ranked airline in the Premium Economy segment by J.D. Power for the third consecutive year. This recognition is based on Delta's exceptional service and premium experiences offered to its customers throughout their travel journey.

The J.D. Power study assesses satisfaction among business and leisure travelers of major North American airlines, evaluating various aspects of the air travel experience. Delta achieved top scores in six out of seven dimensions evaluated by J.D. Power, which include day-of-travel pre-/post-flight experience, onboard experience, ease of travel with the airline, digital tools, airline staff, and level of trust with the airline.

Delta attributes this success to its world-class service and operational excellence provided by its staff, alongside continuous investments in both physical and digital experiences that enhance customer journeys.

Key initiatives contributing to Delta's success include industry-leading onboard connectivity through fast and free Wi-Fi presented by T-Mobile for SkyMiles members on most domestic flights, with plans for international expansion. Additionally, Delta Sync offers a seatback entertainment experience akin to home comfort.

New partnerships have also been established to improve customer experiences. These include a rideshare and delivery partnership allowing customers to link their SkyMiles and Uber accounts for earning miles on eligible rides and orders. Another partnership will provide ad-free content access during flights via Delta Sync Wi-Fi.

Delta has also expanded its luxury lounges with new Delta One Lounges introduced at several locations in 2024 and plans for further expansions in 2025. The Fly Delta app has been updated with user-friendly features connecting customers to real-time trip details and personalized support.

In recognition of its commitment to customer experience, operational performance, and workplace culture, Delta earned placements on Fortune's lists and was named Cirium’s top performer for four consecutive years while securing the No. 1 rating in an annual survey for 14 years running.
