Mayo es un mes significativo en Chile debido a la celebración del Día de la Madre, que este año se conmemora el domingo 11 de mayo. Esta fecha se ha convertido en una ocasión de alto consumo, similar a una "segunda Navidad", según un estudio de Cadem. El informe indica que el 75% de los encuestados celebra esta festividad y el 69% compra regalos como chocolates, perfumes, ropa y flores.

El aumento del comercio electrónico hace necesario gestionar adecuadamente los envíos para asegurar entregas exitosas. FedEx, reconocida por su servicio de transporte exprés, ofrece varias recomendaciones para quienes compran regalos online. Entre ellas destacan: anotar correctamente los datos del destinatario, declarar con precisión las compras internacionales y prestar atención a los costos de envío.

FedEx también sugiere incluir información adicional dentro del paquete y reutilizar cajas solo si están en buenas condiciones. Además, aconseja sellar bien los paquetes y planificar con anticipación consultando sus canales de servicio al cliente.
