Cathay Pacific has announced the reopening of its redesigned lounge, The Bridge, at Hong Kong International Airport. This development is part of the airline's post-pandemic recovery and lounge enhancement strategy.

According to Business Traveller, The Bridge had been closed since 2020 and was previously believed to be permanently shut. Its reopening aligns with Cathay Pacific's broader plan to renovate its flagship lounge, The Wing, ensuring continued premium services for travelers during the renovation period.

The redesigned lounge spans over 27,000 square feet and can accommodate approximately 450 guests. Mainly Miles reports that it features updated amenities, including a new dining concept called The Nook, offering regional Chinese small plates. The refreshed design aesthetic aligns with Cathay Pacific's latest "living room" concept. The lounge operates daily from 5:30 AM until the last Cathay Pacific departure.

Located near Gate 35 in Terminal 1 at Hong Kong International Airport, The Design Air notes that the lounge now includes a biometric check-in system alongside traditional check-in desks to enhance customer experience. It is divided into two wings: one offering Chinese favorites and the other focused on international culinary delights.

As a founding member of the Oneworld alliance, it is renowned for its commitment to safety, service excellence, and innovation.
