EVA Air has announced the return of the 2025 EVA Marathon in Taipei, with registration now open for race distances ranging from 3K to 42K.

The annual marathon organized by EVA Air in Taipei has become a significant event, attracting runners globally and promoting Taiwan as a sports tourism destination. The 2025 edition is scheduled for October 26 and offers race categories of 3K, 10K, 21K, and 42K, catering to various fitness levels. According to EVA Air's official announcement on X, registration opened on May 8, 2025, inviting participants to join this international running event.

The marathon features four race distances: 3K, 10K, 21.0975K (half marathon), and 42.195K (full marathon). Registration is open from May 8 to May 29, or until all slots are filled. Participant caps are set at 3,000 for the 3K race, and at 8,500 each for the 10K and half marathon races. The full marathon has a cap of 4,000 participants. According to the official event website, the races start at various times in the morning, beginning with the full marathon at 5:10 AM.

The EVA Air Marathon has seen substantial participation in previous years. In the most recent event held in 2024, over 24,000 runners took part. According to Taiwan News, it serves as a platform for international runners to experience Taipei's culture and hospitality.

Founded in 1989, EVA Air operates a fleet of eighty-seven aircraft including Boeing models such as the B777s and B787s along with Airbus A330s and A321s. According to its official website, EVA Air is recognized for its commitment to safety standards and service quality while offering innovative options like themed flights.
