The airline reports that 99.9% of all baggage originating from or transferring through Dubai reaches its destination on time. The mishandling rate at Emirates' Dubai hub is 1.4 per 1000 bags, significantly lower than other airlines.
Globally, when delays occur, Emirates reunites 91% of delayed bags with their owners within 72 hours. This achievement is particularly significant given the complexity of international transfers handled by the airline.
The Lost and Found department also performs well, recovering and returning 94% of valuable items to customers in Dubai within an hour. These items are typically found on Emirates aircraft or at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport (DXB) and include essential travel items such as passports and phones.
