In June, 61 airports across 36 countries will handle flights by the Airbus A380, a popular widebody aircraft manufactured by Airbus. Among these countries is Bahrain, where Emirates will conduct a one-off flight from Dubai to Bahrain for Eid al-Adha. This flight, with a block time of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, will temporarily hold the record as the world's shortest A380 route.

Ten airlines are scheduled to operate the A380 in June: All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, British Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Qantas Airways, Qatar Airways, and Singapore Airlines. Notably absent is Global Airlines; although it chartered an A380 in May for flights from Glasgow and Manchester to New York JFK operated by Hi Fly Europe, no further services are planned for June.

Dubai remains a key hub for the A380 due to Emirates' extensive fleet of 116 double-decker jets. The airport accounts for two-thirds of global A380 operations this month. While British Airways is set to resume its service on October 27 for winter operations, Emirates continues with its robust schedule serving 52 destinations worldwide in June.

The table of top ten airports reveals Dubai's dominance with 2,336 one-way flights and up to 79 daily takeoffs. Other major airports include London Heathrow with multiple carriers operating and Los Angeles featuring significant diversity despite lacking a home-based carrier.

A few notable one-off services include Korean Air's flight from Seoul Incheon to Hong Kong on June 5 and another from Seoul Incheon to Tokyo Narita on June 20. Meanwhile, Emirates plans a special high-capacity configuration flight from Dubai to Bahrain on June 5.

Los Angeles stands out among non-hub cities with significant A380 traffic—205 departures in June—and six operators providing seven routes. It leads over New York JFK and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi as the busiest non-hub city airport for the superjumbo jet.
