Federal Express Corporation, in partnership with Junior Achievement Philippines, continues its initiative to foster entrepreneurial skills among young Filipinos through the 2025 FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (FedEx/JA ITC). This year’s event has concluded with six students chosen to represent the Philippines at the regional finals in Singapore this August.

The FedEx/JA ITC program, now in its 16th year, encourages secondary school students to think entrepreneurially and develop global business skills. The competition involves creating a Market Entry Strategy Plan for sustainable fashion solutions aimed at reducing product return waste in China.

Team Discarte, from the University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi, presented "Beanstock," a textile made from rice bean fibers grown in Yunnan, China. Team Haraya, from the University of San Jose-Recoletos, introduced "LOOK 书," an app for buying and selling second-hand clothes. Team Idiyanale, from Philippine Cultural College, developed "小衣同 (Xiǎo Yī Tóng)," a platform for swapping secondhand clothes and supporting eco-friendly initiatives.
