Allegiant Air announced on X that it will launch five new nonstop routes connecting eight U.S. cities, with service beginning in fall 2025.
According to Allegiant Air’s official newsroom, the carrier will introduce these routes this fall, linking Des Moines, IA; Memphis, TN; Appleton, WI; Knoxville, TN; and South Bend, IN with destinations including Gulf Shores, AL; Key West, FL; and Fort Lauderdale, FL. The expansion is part of Allegiant’s strategy to enhance direct leisure travel options between underserved U.S. markets and popular vacation destinations. The airline said that all routes will adhere to its all-nonstop model for more efficient travel.
As detailed in the press release, the new services are scheduled to commence between August 29 and October 3, 2025, with one-way fares starting at $39. Flights such as Knoxville to Key West and South Bend to Fort Lauderdale are planned to begin before the fall vacation season. Allegiant indicated that these fares aim to make leisure travel more accessible and budget-friendly.
