In June, five U.S. airports will host flights on the Airbus A340, A380, and Boeing 747 passenger aircraft. These airports—Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK, and Washington Dulles—are unique in accommodating all three quadjet types during this period. The number of flights varies among these locations, with Los Angeles leading at 300 departures.

The analysis is based on Cirium Diio data for June schedules. Boston's inclusion is notable due to Lufthansa resuming its Boeing 747 services there in May after a hiatus since October 2022. The airport will see a total of 120 combined departures by the A340, A380, and 747.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will experience the highest number of quadjet operations. Various airlines including Asiana Airlines and Emirates are set to operate their A380s from LAX multiple times daily. Meanwhile, New York JFK is expected to have significant activity with a total of 282 quadjet departures despite Etihad Airways removing its A380 service.

Miami International Airport stands out for its limited schedule of just 63 departures across the three aircraft types in June. From early June onwards, only two types will be flown there.

Changes from last year are apparent as more airports join this list compared to June 2024 when only Los Angeles and New York JFK had such operations. Boston has rejoined following Lufthansa's resumption of services in May 2025.

Looking ahead to winter schedules starting October 26th and lasting until March 28th, it appears that only New York JFK will continue offering flights on all three quadjet models through November according to preliminary scheduling data.
