Flying Food Group announced on LinkedIn that it has launched its Virgin Atlantic operations.

According to Flying Food Group, its partnership with Virgin Atlantic marks a key addition to its roster of global airline clients, reflecting its ongoing strategy to align with premium international carriers. The collaboration expands the company’s presence in the transatlantic market, particularly through Virgin Atlantic’s service routes from U.S. airports such as Miami. Flying Food Group has consistently focused on scaling its operations to match the growth of international long-haul carriers.

As reported by Miami International Airport (MIA), they achieved a record-breaking 52.3 million passengers in 2023, marking a 3.2% increase over the previous year's record. This makes MIA the busiest international airport in the United States, serving as a critical hub for airline catering operations. Its extensive infrastructure supports over 100 airlines, positioning it as an ideal location for launching new airline catering services like Flying Food Group's Virgin Atlantic start-up.

The Miami kitchen, part of this network, has earned recognition for its ability to meet tight operational deadlines and maintain high-quality standards, underscoring its reliability and efficiency. This proven track record was evident in their support for Virgin Atlantic’s start-up services, demonstrating the group’s capacity to manage fast-paced, large-scale airline catering ramp-ups for premium clients.
