Alaska Airlines announced it is launching Chef’s (tray) Table, a new First Class dining program featuring top West Coast chefs, beginning June 5 on select flights, according to a post on X.

Alaska Airlines is introducing Chef’s (tray) Table, a First Class dining initiative that brings the expertise of renowned West Coast chefs to the skies. The program debuts on June 5 with a menu crafted by James Beard Award-winning chef Brady Ishiwata Williams of Seattle's Tomo restaurant. This initiative aims to elevate the inflight dining experience by offering regionally inspired, chef-curated meals to First Class passengers.

According to Alaska Airlines, the inaugural menu features dishes that reflect Chef Williams' modern Japanese-American culinary style, incorporating Pacific Northwest ingredients. Notable offerings include a mochi waffle with fried chicken for breakfast and a buckwheat soba with ahi-tuna tataki for dinner. These meals will be available on select flights between Seattle and East Coast destinations such as New York (JFK and EWR) and Washington, D.C. (DCA).
