Delta Air Lines is set to implement its most extensive transatlantic summer schedule to date. The airline plans nearly 700 weekly flights between the United States and 33 European destinations, using its fleet of Airbus A330s, A350s, and Boeing 767s.

The summer schedule includes new services to Barcelona, Dublin, Naples, and Rome. Cirium reports that Delta will operate 2,863 Europe-bound flights in June alone, providing around 740,751 seats. Key destinations include Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Rome.

Delta's busiest routes from the U.S. in June originate from Atlanta, Minneapolis-Saint Paul, and Detroit. "The airline’s single busiest route will be from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS), operating 90 flights with 26,762 available seats," according to Cirium data.

Amsterdam remains a significant market for Delta's transatlantic operations. The airline plans nearly 500 flights there next month with a total of 142,796 seats available. Besides its primary hubs in Atlanta, Minneapolis-Saint Paul, and Detroit; Boston; New York JFK; Seattle; Salt Lake City also serve Amsterdam.

Despite strong demand for Amsterdam routes overall seat count has decreased by 1.3% compared to June last year due mainly to ending Portland–Amsterdam service now managed by KLM under joint venture realignment efforts aimed at optimizing aircraft rotation schedules.

Delta extended Tampa–Amsterdam route into year-round service offering four weekly departures during June on Mondays Wednesdays Thursdays Saturdays originally launched as seasonal summer-only pre-pandemic later suspended then reinstated early last year winter-only until May end but now continues through summer beyond

Overall transatlantic capacity increased this June versus last year's same period showing an additional growth rate reflected both flight numbers up by over four percent alongside six-point-one percent rise across available seating representing added departure opportunities totaling more than forty-two thousand eight hundred extra places offered across Atlantic crossings

Newly introduced paths since previous season expand footprint within critical European markets meeting leisure strategic business demands alike while certain select connections removed such those linking Portland-Amsterdam transferred KLM plus discontinued New York JFK-Munich operated seasonally dropped amid fluctuating needs likewise daily Atlanta-Stuttgart ceased following persistent booking declines
