These stations are equipped with artificial turf, waste disposal bags, and hand sanitizer to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. The availability of these facilities across all terminals underscores LAX's commitment to accommodating passengers traveling with animals.
As reported by The Points Guy, LAX boasts more pet relief stations than any other U.S. airport, with eight post-security stations distributed throughout the terminals and three additional stations located outside the airport doors. This extensive network of pet relief areas provides convenience for travelers, allowing pets to relieve themselves without the need to exit and re-enter security checkpoints.
