Air India has announced the launch of nonstop flights between Delhi and Manila, scheduled to operate five times a week starting October 1, 2025. The announcement was made on the social media platform X.

According to Air India, the new service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays using Airbus A321neo aircraft. These flights will feature a three-class cabin configuration: Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class. This initiative positions Air India as the only airline offering direct flights between India and the Philippines, aiming to enhance connectivity for both business and leisure travelers.

As reported by The Indian Express, this route marks the resumption of direct flights between India and the Philippines after a 12-year hiatus. The last such service was operated by Philippine Airlines in 2013. The reintroduction of this connection is expected to facilitate easier travel for Indian tourists and business professionals by eliminating layovers in other Southeast Asian hubs. This move aligns with increasing demand for direct air travel options between the two countries.
