Delta Air Lines has been ranked No. 3 on the ReturnOnLeadership (ROL100) list, an improvement from its previous position. The ranking, developed by Indiggo in collaboration with Fortune, highlights Delta as the highest-ranked airline and the leading company within its sector.

The ROL100 uses artificial intelligence to evaluate leadership based on four criteria: connection to purpose, strategic clarity, leadership alignment, and focused action. It assesses how well companies execute their leadership strategies using publicly available data. Delta performed particularly well in terms of connection to purpose.

This recognition underscores Delta's dedication to effective leadership across industries beyond aviation. High ROL scores correlate with consistent profitability among Fortune 100 companies compared to those ranked lower.
