EVA Air has announced a limited-time promotion offering up to 4,000 bonus miles for sports fans who join the Infinity MileageLands program via QR code and book flights.

According to EVA Air’s North America promotion page, the offer runs from May 1 to September 30, 2025, and is exclusively available for live sports spectators in North America. Fans who join Infinity MileageLands by scanning the event QR code earn an instant 1,000 bonus miles. These members can then increase their reward by booking an eligible EVA Air flight to receive up to 3,000 additional award and status miles, totaling a potential 4,000-mile bonus.

The promotion page indicates that the campaign is tailored for "live spectators in North America," highlighting a strategic push to engage fans at sporting venues. By embedding QR codes in event environments, the airline merges live enthusiasm with digital interaction. This live-event promotional model aims to boost both brand visibility and loyalty program enrollment among a demographic likely to travel.

As outlined on the same promotion page, joining Infinity MileageLands yields 1,000 bonus award miles immediately. Booking and flying on EVA Air during the promotion period then unlocks up to 3,000 additional Award Miles and Status Miles—enhancing members’ standing in the frequent-flyer program. This two-tier incentive aligns with loyalty-industry best practices for combining acquisition and activation rewards to deepen engagement.

EVA Air is a Taiwan-based international airline headquartered in Taoyuan City and a prominent member of the Star Alliance. Founded in 1989, the airline operates a modern fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft to over 50 destinations worldwide. Its Infinity MileageLands program is highly regarded in the Asia-Pacific region, offering tiered benefits that include lounge access, award ticket upgrades, and partnerships across airlines, hotels, and car rental services.
