Breeze Airways, now in its fourth year of operations, has expanded its service to three new airports this month: Albany, Greensboro, and Key West. The airline ranks as the 15th-largest carrier in the U.S. for June flights and moves up to 11th place in terms of available seats, operating a fleet that includes Airbus A220-300s and Embraer E190s and E195s.

The return of Breeze to Denver is notable this month. Breeze initially began serving Denver in May 2024 with seasonal flights from Providence after Frontier exited the market in 2022. Now, both Breeze and Southwest operate flights between these two cities.

Most routes initiated by Breeze are scheduled twice weekly, consistent with the airline's standard frequency. However, exceptions include intra-Florida routes to Key West which have more frequent services. Among the new routes, only one—Albany to Raleigh/Durham—faces direct competition from Avelo Airlines.

Notably, some routes like Albany to Charleston and Greensboro to Hartford have never been served before by any airline. In 2024, these markets had round-trip local passenger numbers of 21,300 and 11,600 respectively.

Breeze has also filled gaps left by other airlines on previously unserved routes at Greensboro-Orlando International and Key West connections from Orlando and Tampa. Silver Airways was the last operator on these routes before ceasing operations earlier this year.

Breeze's entry into Key West marks its most southern destination yet among its Florida offerings. The route from Tampa will increase from four weekly flights to six starting in July.

Meanwhile, Breeze has discontinued services to Mobile International Airport and Plattsburgh compared to last June. The decision leaves Mobile International without any passenger airline service currently.
