Emirates and Uber have entered into a strategic partnership, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance travel experiences for customers. The collaboration aims to provide an integrated booking experience that combines Uber Rides Vouchers with flight bookings, making airport transfers and in-city rides more convenient.

The MoU was signed by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Anabel Diaz Calderon, Vice President and Head of EMEA Mobility at Uber. The partnership will explore various initiatives, including offering select Emirates customers Uber rides to and from the airport as part of a complete door-to-destination experience.

Skywards members in the UAE will have opportunities to earn or redeem miles for Uber app credits or vouchers. Additionally, the collaboration will consider last-mile delivery initiatives for Emirates Courier Express using Uber's technology platform.

Anabel Diaz Calderon shared similar sentiments: "We're thrilled to partner with Emirates... this collaboration will redefine the travel experience for millions of passengers.”

To increase awareness of these initiatives, Emirates and Uber plan to engage in cross-promotional marketing campaigns across the airline’s network. Details on commercial implementation and reward structures are expected in the coming months.
