Cargolux has confirmed an accident involving an Aquarius Aerial Firefighting aircraft during a mission in Türkiye. The Air Tractor AT-802F Fire Boss, with registration LX-AFE, was engaged in firefighting operations when the incident occurred while scooping water. Both the pilot from Aquarius Aerial Firefighting and a Turkish observer managed to evacuate without assistance. There were no fatalities reported. The individuals were rescued by a police boat and transported to a hospital for observation.
