Emirates, the Gulf carrier based in Dubai, has revealed its winter schedule for European destinations. According to an analysis of their submission to Cirium Diio, Emirates will operate flights to 40 European airports from Dubai. Of these, 39 destinations will have at least one daily service throughout the winter season.

St Petersburg is the only exception with six weekly flights. However, flydubai, Emirates' narrowbody partner, supplements this route with a 10-weekly operation.

Barcelona stands out as one of nine airports that will receive at least triple daily services. Emirates began serving Barcelona in July 2012 and increased to double daily by May 2015. The airline has confirmed it will resume triple daily services starting October 26th, marking the beginning of the northern aviation winter season according to IATA slot schedules.

The newly introduced service EK187/EK188 departs Dubai at 14:00 and returns at 05:55. These flights are strategically timed for optimal connectivity across Asia-Pacific and sub-Saharan Africa from Dubai.

Additionally, Emirates has secured slots for potential increases in flight frequency to London Gatwick and Manchester Airport up to four times daily but hasn't yet confirmed these changes. Similarly, slots have been obtained for a potential increase in Dublin services to triple daily; however, this remains unscheduled.

In November, London Heathrow will be served six times daily using A380 aircraft. Other destinations with triple daily services include Frankfurt, Istanbul, Moscow Domodedovo, Paris CDG, and Rome Fiumicino among others.

Amsterdam was not included in the list of triple daily destinations due to a reduction in weekly departures aimed at minimizing noise and emissions around Schiphol airport.

Overall seat capacity per departure on routes like Dubai-Amsterdam has increased by 2%, despite a decrease in weekly seats available compared to last year. This adjustment is expected to improve load factors and yields during the winter period.
