Postcard Cabins, acquired by Marriott in 2024, is now fully integrated into the Marriott Bonvoy program. Initially, only a few of its 29 locations were available for booking through Marriott Bonvoy without points redemption. As of now, the entire portfolio can be booked using cash or points, with rates starting at under $150 or 27,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night.

Stays at Postcard Cabins will earn points and elite night credits at Marriott's standard rate. These luxury tiny cabins offer amenities such as fully stocked kitchens and spa-inspired bath products and are located within a two-hour drive of major cities like Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, and Boston.

Marriott Bonvoy members can also book Postcard Cabins using credit card points from programs like Chase Ultimate Rewards and American Express Membership Rewards. Points transfer to Marriott Bonvoy accounts at a 1:1 ratio unless there's a transfer bonus.

The Chase Travel portal allows bookings for Postcard Cabins but not the American Express Travel portal. Current cardholders can redeem Ultimate Rewards points through this portal until October 27, 2027.

Booking directly through Marriott could cost $640 or 155,000 Marriott points for a two-night stay in August. TPG values Amex Membership Rewards at 2 cents per point and Chase Ultimate Rewards at 2.05 cents per point while valuing Marriott Bonvoy points lower at 0.7 cents per point.

"At Postcard Cabins," travelers can enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort or convenience by utilizing their accumulated rewards effectively for outdoor getaways.
