After acquiring the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) alliance from Hyatt in February 2024, Hilton has been adding select SLH properties to its program since June 2024. Although the initial wave of additions concluded in September 2024, changes continue as SLH properties join and leave the Hilton Honors program.

In February, it was reported that 30 additional SLH properties became bookable through Hilton Honors. However, sources such as Loyalty Lobby and Frequent Miler have noted further changes with more SLH properties becoming available through Hilton Honors, while some are no longer part of the platform.

The alliance between SLH and Hilton Honors allows members to earn and redeem points at participating SLH properties. Benefits for Hilton Honors members include free Wi-Fi and complimentary late checkout at these locations. Gold and Diamond members enjoy additional perks like room upgrades and continental breakfast during eligible stays.

Recent months have seen new additions to the Hilton Honors program including Al Mashreq Boutique Hotel in Riyadh, Amaya in Darwa, Cuvee J2 Hotel Osaka by Onko Chishin, Eriro in Ehrwald, Hotel Le Pigonnet in Aix-en-Provence, among others. Conversely, several properties have left the program such as Casa Lucia in Buenos Aires and Grand Hotel Parker's in Naples.

SLH properties decide independently whether to participate in Hilton Honors based on perceived value from the alliance. Notably, Grand Hotel Parker's and others appear to have exited both Hilton Honors and the SLH program entirely.

For travelers using Hilton Honors points, it's advisable to compare award rates with paid rates before booking any property. Current valuations suggest redeeming points when exceeding a value of 0.5 cents per point.

Travelers should periodically check Hilton's map for updated information on participating SLH properties for their travel plans.
