Etihad Airways has announced a partnership with Air Europa to launch twice-daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Madrid. This initiative aims to provide more seamless travel, according to a post on X.

According to the official X post by Etihad Airways, the airline and Air Europa have initiated a landmark partnership offering twice-daily nonstop service between Abu Dhabi and Madrid. This collaboration expands direct travel options for passengers and is positioned as a milestone in Etihad’s global network strategy. The expanded schedule allows for more flexible trip planning for both business and leisure travelers.

A joint news release from Etihad Airways and Air Europa states that the partnership is built on a codeshare agreement. This arrangement gives passengers access to coordinated check-in, seamless baggage transfer, and more synchronized flight connections between both airlines. The twice-daily route will offer improved connectivity not only between the UAE and Spain but also to onward destinations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
