Delta Air Lines, recognized as the second-largest operator of flights between the United States and Europe after United Airlines, operates from 11 hubs across the US. New York JFK remains its primary European gateway.

Delta maintains a single transatlantic route from Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Orlando, and Tampa. These routes are aligned with SkyTeam's European hubs in Amsterdam and Paris CDG, in collaboration with joint venture partners KLM and Air France.

Cincinnati's sole European connection is to Paris CDG, a service active since 1997. Between 2000 and 2006, Delta also operated flights to several other European cities from Cincinnati. However, post-bankruptcy restructuring led to Cincinnati losing its hub status.

Los Angeles serves primarily Asia-Pacific destinations but retains a link to Paris CDG since 2018. The majority of passengers connect at CDG for further travel within SkyTeam's network.

Orlando offers seasonal flights to Amsterdam since its initial service in 2018. While previously year-round, it now operates only during winter months. In contrast, Tampa began service to Amsterdam in 2019 but resumed only after pandemic disruptions.

Additional routes once served by Delta include connections from Chicago O'Hare and Miami among others. These services have ceased over the years due to various operational changes.

"Delta has just one route from Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Orlando, and Tampa," notes an airline representative regarding their strategic alignment with SkyTeam partners.
