Emirates has launched a new daily service to Shenzhen, expanding its operations in the Chinese mainland. Passengers on the inaugural flight from Dubai received gifts and certificates to mark the occasion. The airline now operates 42 weekly flights to key cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.

The service is operated by a Boeing 777-300ER with four classes: First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class. The flight schedule allows passengers to connect seamlessly through Emirates' hub in Dubai to destinations across Europe and beyond.

Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline stated: “We are excited to launch our new daily service to Shenzhen – one of China’s most dynamic and innovative cities." He expressed gratitude towards the Civil Aviation Administration of China and local partners for their support.

Shenzhen is the first city in mainland China to receive Emirates' retrofitted aircraft featuring upgraded cabin interiors. This expansion aims to enhance connectivity along the Belt and Road Initiative routes while supporting industries such as smart manufacturing and e-commerce through an efficient supply chain system.

The UAE-China trade relationship continues to strengthen with aviation playing a crucial role. Travellers from GCC countries can visit China visa-free for up to 30 days, facilitating easier travel planning for business or leisure purposes.

Emirates remains committed to supporting China's trade objectives while enhancing international connectivity through its growing network.
