Qatar Airways continues to be a major operator of the Airbus A350-1000, with 24 aircraft in its fleet as of July 2023. The airline's first A350-1000 was delivered in February 2018, and the most recent addition arrived last year. Qatar Airways, a member of oneworld, is one of eight airlines utilizing this long-range aircraft. Other operators include Air Caraïbes, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Ethiopian Airlines, Etihad Airways, French bee, Japan Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic.

From July to December 2025, Qatar Airways plans to use the A350-1000 on flights to 41 destinations from its hub at Doha Hamad International Airport. Among these routes are several with limited departures. However, eleven routes will see significant use of the aircraft during this period. The most-served route is between Doha and Dallas/Fort Worth with up to two daily flights during summer.

Other notable routes include Miami with ten weekly flights and Bali/Denpasar offering two daily flights until October 25. Seoul Incheon will have up to eight weekly services during summer before switching to daily operations. Daily services are planned for Atlanta, Houston Intercontinental, Los Angeles (the longest US route by block time), San Francisco, and São Paulo Guarulhos. Bengaluru and Mumbai will each have five weekly flights.

The A350-1000 is no longer used on Qatar Airways' longest route to Auckland Airport in New Zealand. This route spans 7,849 nautical miles (14,536 km) each way and previously utilized the Boeing 777-200LR exclusively until April 2020 when other models like the A350-900 occasionally appeared.

The airline's lowest-capacity A350-1000 operated on this route between September 2023 and May 2025 but has since been replaced by the Boeing 777-200LR starting June 1st of this year. Aeroroutes confirmed that this model would continue service through the upcoming northern winter.

In terms of passenger numbers between April 2024 and March 2025, Qatar Airways transported approximately 433,000 passengers to/from Dallas/Fort Worth alone while maintaining a seat occupancy rate of about 95%. This high figure underscores the popularity of this route within their network via Doha alongside Hyderabad; Bengaluru; Chennai as top origins/destinations.
