Which Middle Eastern carrier offers the best premium economy class? According to an analysis by Simple Flying, Emirates takes the lead with its official Premium Economy cabin. While Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways provide elevated economy class options, they have yet to introduce a formal premium economy service.

Demand for international travel has increased since the pandemic, with passengers seeking more comfort during their journeys. Premium economy offers a middle ground between regular economy and business class, providing wider seats, more legroom, and enhanced meal services at a price lower than business class.

Emirates' Premium Economy has been available since August 2022 on select Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. It features spacious seating with adjustable headrests and extra legroom. Meals are served on Royal Doulton china with stainless-steel cutlery. Entertainment includes a 13.3-inch HD TV screen and wireless Bluetooth headsets.

Qatar Airways offers Comfort+, which is similar to premium economy but not officially labeled as such. Available on certain Boeing 777 aircraft, Comfort+ provides wider seats and greater recline than standard economy.

Etihad Airways has introduced Economy Space with additional legroom in its Airbus A350 aircraft's front section but has not launched a dedicated premium economy cabin.

While both Qatar Airways and Etihad receive praise for their efforts, Emirates is recognized for offering an established Premium Economy class across its network.
