Ethiopian Airlines has launched a new passenger service from Addis Ababa to Hanoi, marking the first flight between these two cities. The airline will operate four times weekly using a 270-seat Boeing 787-8, with a stop in Dhaka. This addition is part of Ethiopian's growing Asian network, which now includes 20 cities.
United Airlines has expanded its services from Tokyo Narita by launching flights to Kaohsiung on July 11. The new route operates daily and involves an aircraft change from a Boeing 777 to a Boeing 737-800 in Japan. United now connects three Asian cities via its Tokyo hub.
South Korean budget airline T'Way Air made its debut in Canada on July 12 with nonstop flights from Seoul to Vancouver. The airline will operate four times weekly using an Airbus A330-300, joining Air Canada and Korean Air on this route.
