DoorDash, known for its quick delivery service of meals and groceries, is expanding its offerings to include digital and physical gift cards. Through the DoorDash Gift Card Shop, users can access exclusive discounts on select gift cards, particularly benefiting DashPass members.

"With the DoorDash Gift Card Shop, you can get physical or digital gift cards with the same quick DoorDash delivery you are accustomed to," according to the announcement. The service claims to be the only online marketplace offering same-day delivery for both types of gift cards.

The shop is accessible via the DoorDash website and app. Users can find a variety of brands ranging from retailers like Lowe's and Nordstrom to restaurants such as Panera Bread. "If you select a digital gift card, you can choose to deliver it via text message or email," it states. Physical cards are delivered by a Dasher from local retailers.

In summary, DoorDash's new initiative allows consumers to purchase discounted gift cards while continuing their usual shopping habits through its platform.
