Federal Express Corporation is continuing its commitment to youth empowerment through the 2025 FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (FedEx/JA ITC). The event, held in Singapore, brought together young minds to present entrepreneurial ideas and global trade strategies. Six students were selected to represent Singapore at the upcoming Asia Pacific regional finals in August 2025.

The FedEx/JA ITC program, now in its 18th year, aims to inspire entrepreneurial thinking among young students in Singapore. In collaboration with JA Singapore, a non-profit organization focused on preparing young students for success in a global economy, the program offers insights into international trade through workshops and team challenges.

- Team Brandstormer from Raffles Institution introduced "ReTex Insulation," an eco-friendly insulation panel using recycled textile waste.

- AMS Solutions from Temasek Polytechnic developed "EcoMat," modular indoor flooring tiles made from recycled textile waste.

These finalists will join others from across the region for an exchange of ideas and entrepreneurial vision. The event promotes cultural collaboration and allows students to apply business skills in an international setting. Finalists will also have opportunities to connect with FedEx leaders and industry experts.

Eric Tan, Managing Director of FedEx Singapore, said: “It’s inspiring to see how quickly young people can turn bold ideas into actionable solutions when given the right support and encouragement.”

Since 2008, the FedEx/JA ITC program has reached over 6,700 students in Singapore. Participants have consistently excelled at the regional level, reflecting strong collaboration between FedEx and JA Singapore.
