EVA Air has announced a free Wi-Fi upgrade for all cabin classes on select aircraft, available from July 1 through September 30. The announcement was made on the airline's official X account.

According to the EVA Air X account, the complimentary Wi-Fi service applies to eligible flights operated by Boeing 777, 787, and Airbus A330-300 aircraft equipped with Wi-Fi systems. This initiative is aimed at supporting passengers traveling during the busy summer months by enhancing digital connectivity for both leisure and business travelers. EVA Air says this promotion was introduced to boost the onboard experience and demonstrate its commitment to innovation in passenger services.

The airline’s news release confirms that passengers in Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class can now access free Wi-Fi once the plane reaches 10,000 feet, provided the aircraft is Wi-Fi enabled. Previously, complimentary access was more limited and often restricted to premium cabins. The new policy removes class barriers, allowing all ticket holders to browse, stream, and connect at no extra cost during the promotional period.

Executive Traveller notes that EVA Air’s Wi-Fi system has been upgraded across much of its long-haul fleet, improving speed and bandwidth to support high user volumes. The publication highlights that the summer promotion is expected to benefit a wide range of travelers, including those needing internet access for work or entertainment. Such initiatives align EVA Air with other leading global carriers enhancing digital inflight amenities as part of a broader service strategy.

According to the official EVA Air website, EVA Air is an international airline headquartered in Taiwan, operating flights to over 60 destinations across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. The airline is a member of the Star Alliance and is widely recognized for its customer service, operational reliability, and frequent adoption of passenger-focused technology. EVA Air’s continuous investment in service innovations—including inflight connectivity—reflects its ongoing commitment to delivering a premium travel experience.
