Hawaiian Airlines is set to increase its flight offerings for the upcoming holiday season. The airline plans to add flights between Honolulu International Airport and three major destinations: Los Angeles, Seattle, and Sydney. This decision follows last winter's successful increase in holiday flights to various West Coast destinations.
The schedule expansion includes adding a daily flight to Los Angeles International Airport and increasing capacity on the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport route by replacing an A321neo aircraft with a Boeing 787-9. Additionally, Hawaiian Airlines will enhance its international route frequency by offering daily flights from Honolulu to Sydney during the December-January period.
Brent Overbeek, chief revenue officer at Hawaiian Airlines, commented on the expanded capacity: "We’re already seeing compelling demand for end-of-year travel and our extra flights will make it even more convenient for our guests to experience our Hawaiian hospitality during the holiday season."
