Woon Tien Long, Managing Director of FedEx Malaysia | FedEx Malaysia

Federal Express Corporation, commonly known as FedEx, has been recognized with two awards at the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2025. The company received the titles of Company of the Year in both Heart of Service and Long-Standing Excellence categories. This marks the fifth time FedEx has been honored at these awards since 2020.

Woon Tien Long, Managing Director of FedEx Malaysia, expressed pride in receiving the Heart of Service award for the first time. He stated, “It’s a meaningful reflection of how our team shows up for the community - whether mentoring youth, building urban farms, or exploring lower-emissions delivery solutions."

FedEx Malaysia's recent corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives include several impactful projects. The FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge has equipped over 9,900 Malaysian students with business skills since 2008. Urban farming efforts with Treat Every Environment Special (TrEES) support a vegetable garden that provides meals to underserved communities. Additionally, the FedEx Cares Purple Tote Campaign collected essentials for a local children's shelter.

In sustainability efforts, FedEx piloted Malaysia’s first cross-border electric vehicle delivery from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore last year. This initiative avoided an estimated 100 kilograms of CO₂ emissions and was recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records as “First Zero Emission Cross-Border Delivery.”

The Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards recognize corporations committed to creating positive impacts through CSR initiatives in Malaysia.
