Bunkhouse Hotels, a collection of boutique properties in the United States and Mexico, has begun integrating its locations into the World of Hyatt loyalty program. As of August 11, seven Bunkhouse hotels have joined World of Hyatt, including Hotel Saint Augustine in Houston, Hotel Saint Cecilia and Hotel San Jose in Austin, Austin Motel, Carpenter Hotel in Austin, Hotel San Cristobal in Todos Santos, Mexico, and Hotel San Fernando in Mexico City. Additional properties in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston are expected to be added soon.

World of Hyatt members staying at participating Bunkhouse Hotels will receive similar benefits as they do at other Hyatt brands. According to Hyatt: "Earn 5 base points per eligible $1 spent at participating Bunkhouse Hotels. Earn 4 bonus points per eligible $1 spent on the World of Hyatt Credit Card (see rates and fees) at participating Bunkhouse Hotels. Earn credit toward earning elite tier status and Milestone Rewards with every qualifying stay. Unlock new perks through award chart participation and on-property elite benefits." The brand will also participate in Hyatt's Brand Explorer award program.

To mark the integration, four limited-edition experiences are being offered at Bunkhouse properties for World of Hyatt members to bid on using points. These include a two-night full hotel buyout for up to 24 guests at Hotel San Fernando; a three-night couples retreat with wellness activities at Hotel San Cristobal; a luxury getaway package with exclusive dining and cultural experiences at Hotel Saint Augustine; and a vinyl-and-barbecue themed stay featuring local chefs and music events at either Hotel Saint Cecilia or Carpenter Hotel. Each auction begins at 5,000 World of Hyatt points and bidding is open until August 18.
