American Airlines opens first grab-and-go lounge at Charlotte airport

Personalized flight assistance is available from two staff representatives who can help with travel questions or irregular operations.

Other airlines like Air Canada and United have also invested in grab-and-go lounges. Credit card companies have joined this trend by providing takeaway food options at Capital One Lounges and Amex’s upcoming Sidecar outposts.

Charlotte serves as American Airlines’ second-busiest hub with significant connecting traffic.

"The airline just opened its first-ever grab-and-go lounge, dubbed Provisions by Admirals Club, at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). The space, which measures roughly 2,000 square feet, is designed exclusively for travelers to pop by on the way to their flight — whether they're hoping to get a snack or a cup of coffee."
