Japan Airlines has announced affordable flights from Haneda to Komatsu, with additional benefits available through the Komatsu Airport Supporters Club app. The announcement was made on X.

Japan Airlines is promoting travel to Ishikawa and Fukui Prefectures by highlighting the efficient 65-minute flight from Haneda Airport to Komatsu Airport, opening access to the culturally rich Hokuriku region. Komatsu Airport serves as a primary gateway to both Ishikawa—home to Kanazawa—and northern Fukui, supporting both domestic and light international routes. This makes it a strategic hub for regional tourism and business travel. According to Skyscanner’s data, the average flight time on this route is approximately 1 hour and 6 minutes, confirming the swift transit advantage.

The promotion emphasizes "affordable fares even for same-day bookings," catering directly to travelers with last-minute travel needs, such as urgent business trips or spontaneous leisure plans. This flexibility allows passengers to book travel on the day of departure without significant price penalties, enhancing Japan Airlines' appeal to time-sensitive customers. The campaign page also highlights the convenience of short domestic flight durations, reinforcing cost-effective, efficient travel.
