Korean Air has announced the completion of the first phase of its lounge renewal project at Incheon International Airport. The airline, which was named AirlineRatings’ World’s Best Airline for 2025, will officially open a redesigned Miler Club Lounge and Prestige East Lounge on August 18. Additionally, two new Prestige Garden Lounges have been introduced at the far ends of the terminal as part of the airport’s recent expansion.

The updated lounges feature hotel-style lobbies that lead into separate zones designed for dining, relaxation, meetings, and wellness. An important addition is the “Live Stations,” where chefs from Grand Hyatt Incheon prepare dishes in front of guests.

Both the Miler Club and Prestige East Lounge now include open kitchens where signature dishes are made to order. The buffet offers a mix of Korean and Western cuisine, including hand-tossed pizzas, croissants, beef steak, gimbap with local ingredients, tteokguk (rice cake soup), and janchi guksu (banquet noodles). There is also a bartender available for cocktails and an in-house barista serving coffee in the Miler Club. Menus will be updated quarterly to highlight seasonal ingredients.

In addition to food options, the lounges provide spaces tailored for different needs such as wellness areas with massage chairs, tech zones for device use, meeting rooms with conference screens, and shower facilities equipped with private powder rooms and premium amenities.

The interior design combines elements inspired by traditional Korean architecture with modern materials like metal. A color scheme featuring golds and charcoals reflects Korean Air’s premium cabin style. Furnishings made from wood and marble are paired with ambient lighting to create a contemporary setting.

The Prestige Garden East Lounge overlooks a traditional Korean garden while the West Lounge faces a modern Western garden; both offer curated food and beverage selections.

Renovations set to finish next year will include updates to the First Class Lounge as well as additional sections of existing lounges. During this period, First Class passengers will temporarily use the Miler Club.

Once all renovations are complete, Korean Air’s total lounge space at Incheon is expected to increase from 5,105 square meters to 12,270 square meters. Seating capacity will nearly double from 898 seats to 1,566 seats. This expansion supports infrastructure investment ahead of Korean Air’s planned integration with Asiana Airlines.

"Korean Air’s lounge renewal is part of our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional service for our customers," said an airline spokesperson.
