FedEx has announced the return of the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards for the 2025 season, continuing its expanded player eligibility format and introducing a new charitable partnership with Feeding America. The program, now in its 23rd year, will again recognize standout performances from quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends. This change reflects adjustments made last season to acknowledge more positions as football evolves.

Jenny Robertson, senior vice president of Global Brand and Communications at FedEx, said, “The NFL is always evolving, and so are we. Expanding the award categories helps us recognize more of the incredible playmakers who move the game forward, just as FedEx continually adapts to deliver with speed and purpose.”

Each week after Sunday Night Football, six players across these four positions will be nominated for FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week. Fans can vote from Monday through Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. ET on NFL.com/FedEx, via the NFL Mobile App, or on X (formerly Twitter) at @NFL.

This year introduces a new element to the awards: each Player of the Week honor triggers a donation from FedEx to Feeding America for a local food bank in each winning player's city. This marks the first time that Feeding America’s network will benefit directly from this program.

Robertson stated, “Feeding America has been a valued partner in our broader mission to support local communities and combat food insecurity. This year, we’re proud to bring our expanded relationship with Feeding America into the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week program for the first time, tying performance to purpose in a meaningful way.”

Lauren Biedron, senior vice president of corporate partnerships at Feeding America added: “We believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food. We are proud to partner with FedEx on this impactful program that leverages the passion of NFL fans to help ensure families in NFL markets can thrive. We can end hunger when we work together.”

Since starting in 2003, FedEx has donated nearly $3 million through this initiative to nonprofit organizations including charities and children’s hospitals associated with winning players.

The season concludes with naming the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year during NFL Honors ahead of Super Bowl LX in California’s San Francisco Bay Area.

Tracie Rodburg, senior vice president of global partnerships for the NFL said: “We’re proud to continue our partnership with FedEx, a company that understands the value of precision and performance. Their commitment to recognizing top talent and investing in communities aligns perfectly with the values of the league and our fans.”
