Paris is a popular destination during the holiday season, offering visitors a variety of festive experiences. According to an Aer Lingus employee, the Christmas market at Jardin des Tuileries provides a seasonal atmosphere with wooden chalets and decorative lights. The nearby Louvre serves as a backdrop for those looking to enjoy local pastries at BO&MIE.

For those interested in holiday displays, Printemps Haussmann and Galeries Lafayette Opéra are known for their elaborate decorations. "Printemps features an enchanting Christmas spread with stunning decorations and elaborate window displays, while Galeries Lafayette takes it up a notch with its breathtaking Christmas tree, towering under the iconic glass dome." Visitors can access the rooftop of these department stores for views of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower.

A visit to Angelina’s on Rue de Rivoli is recommended for its well-known hot chocolate. "Angelina’s hot chocolate has become an iconic Parisian treat, it’s the perfect indulgence to warm you up as you explore the city." Those wishing to avoid lines can use a takeaway counter inside. Carette is another suggested location for hot chocolate, particularly noted on social media platforms.
