Emirates Skywards, the loyalty program for Emirates and flydubai, is marking its 25th anniversary with a series of special events and promotions. Since its launch in 2000, the program has grown to more than 37 million members from over 190 countries. To celebrate the milestone, Emirates Skywards will offer 25 days of giveaways from September 25 to October 20.

During this period, members can participate in a raffle with a total prize pool of 25 million Skywards Miles. Prizes include individual awards of up to one million Miles. Members can enter by registering and earning Skywards Miles through Emirates, flydubai, or participating partners within the promotion window.

Additional activities are planned at Dubai International Airport (DXB), including interactive quizzes for passengers, complimentary lounge access, duty-free vouchers, and branded ice cream trucks available in Terminal 3 from October 1-5 and Terminal 2 from October 8-9. Special tags on luggage at baggage belts will also reward travelers with lounge access, merchandise, and bonus Miles.

Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President Emirates Skywards, said:

“25 years! We are thrilled to celebrate such a monumental milestone. Emirates Skywards is a true success story – one that was born in Dubai and has now become one of the most recognised and loved loyalty programmes in the world with millions of members based in the UK, US, UAE, India, Australia and beyond.

Our success stems from always placing members first. Over the years, we listened, adapted, and innovated. We continuously introduced new, personalised offerings to create valuable and memorable rewards to our members worldwide. It has been an incredible journey made possible thanks to the trust and confidence of our members. Thank you for being at the heart of our story.  And what better way to celebrate than give back to our community with 25 days of nonstop surprises and offers– all while we take our loyalty message global with the special Emirates A380 ’25 years’ livery.

Thank you to our partners, members, and dedicated team for making Skywards one of the most valued loyalty programmes in the world.”

To mark its Silver Jubilee further, Emirates will introduce a custom “25 years” aircraft livery featuring silver designs that will be seen on flights worldwide starting next month.

Emirates Skywards currently works with more than 100 partners across various sectors including airlines—offering access to over 1,400 destinations—hotels (over 30,000 properties), financial services (20 credit/debit cards), retail brands (over 7,200), car rentals covering more than 50 countries through five partners; as well as points conversion partnerships.

The program sees over 120,000 transactions earning Miles daily; nearly 400 billion Miles have been redeemed since inception for upgrades or flight rewards; over 800 Classic Rewards are redeemed each day on Emirates flights; and every minute an upgrade reward is claimed by a member.

In addition to travel benefits like ticket redemptions or upgrades on both Emirates and partner airlines—including recent experiences offered at major sporting events such as FA Cup (UK), US Open (US), Wimbledon (UK), Roland Garros (France) & Coca-Cola Arena (UAE)—Skywards provides four membership tiers: Blue, Silver, Gold & Platinum.

The program was recently named ‘Best Global Airline Loyalty Program’ at the International Loyalty Awards in June 2025.
