Hawaiian Airlines' loyalty program, HawaiianMiles, will officially transition to Atmos Rewards on October 1. This change follows the August integration of Alaska Airlines' Mileage Plan into the joint Atmos Rewards program with Hawaiian Airlines.

To prepare for the migration, a login freeze has been in effect from September 26 to 30. During this period, members have not been able to access their accounts or perform most loyalty functions. Full account access and regular features are set to resume under Atmos Rewards starting October 1.

All existing HawaiianMiles balances will automatically convert to Atmos Rewards points at a one-to-one rate. Members do not need to take any action for this transfer. According to The Points Guy's September 2025 valuations, Atmos Rewards points are valued at 1.5 cents each.

Members should note that their HawaiianMiles account numbers will be replaced by new Atmos Rewards numbers. For those who previously had an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account, that number will become their new loyalty identifier within Atmos Rewards. If members did not link their accounts by September 26 or never had an Alaska or Atmos number, a new one will be created and instructions provided on October 1.

Any activity—such as flights taken or miles earned—between September 26 and September 30 will not appear during the blackout but will be updated in member accounts when they log into Atmos Rewards after the transition.

Elite status held under HawaiianMiles Pualani tiers will also move over to corresponding levels in the new program:

- Pualani Gold becomes Atmos Silver

- Pualani Platinum (less than 75,000 elite qualifying miles) becomes Atmos Gold

- Pualani Platinum (75,000–99,999 EQMs) becomes Atmos Platinum

- Pualani Platinum (100,000-plus EQMs) becomes Atmos Titanium

"After the transition, you'll enjoy Atmos Rewards elite status benefits (and corresponding Oneworld alliance perks) when you add your Atmos number to reservations; some upgrade and benefit rules differ from HawaiianMiles."

Hawaiian Airlines cobranded credit and debit cards—including the World Elite Mastercard and Bankoh Visa Debit Card—will continue functioning as usual after October 1. All rewards earned from these cards moving forward will post directly to members’ new Atmos Rewards accounts instead of HawaiianMiles accounts. Existing card benefits remain unchanged.

"The information for the Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard, the Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Business Mastercard and the Bankoh Hawaiian Airlines Visa Debit Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer."

New applicants can still apply for all versions of these cobranded cards following the loyalty migration; however, rewards earned by new cardmembers will now accrue as Atmos Rewards points rather than Hawaiian miles.

"On Oct. 1, your HawaiianMiles account becomes Atmos Rewards. Miles move 1:1, your Pualani status converts to an equivalent Atmos tier, and you'll manage redemptions and benefits using this joint-loyalty program account going forward."

Members are advised that saved payment methods from their previous profiles will not carry over and must be re-entered after logging into their new accounts in October. However, stored traveler information is expected to migrate successfully.

The transition aims for minimal disruption while providing continued access to airline rewards through a unified platform shared between Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines.
