Star Alliance’s Los Angeles lounge has been named North America's Leading Airport Lounge at the World Travel Awards 2025, marking its sixth consecutive win in this category. The award was announced during the Caribbean & The Americas Gala Ceremony held on October 4, 2025, in Saint Lucia.

Theo Panagiotoulias, CEO of Star Alliance, commented on the recognition: “Our commitment at Star Alliance is to create seamless and connected journeys for travellers, and our lounges play an important role in this. This recognition is especially meaningful, reflecting the trust of travellers and industry experts and the continued excellence of the LAX lounge. We’re proud to see it honoured as a leader year after year.”

The Los Angeles International Airport lounge spans 18,000 square feet and features amenities such as an outdoor terrace with firepits, a water wall, and views of the Hollywood Hills. It provides travelers with spaces for dining, working or relaxing before flights.

The World Travel Awards have recognized achievements in travel, tourism and hospitality since 1993.
